Favourite Products This Week!

Hi guys! I am so sorry it's been so long since I've posted, I've just started my second year at University and I also have been working so I've struggled to find any time. Anyway, I've recently bought some new products and I just thought I'd share them all with you :)

So, I finally bought some new foundation, and I decided to go with MAC. This foundation is amazing! It's basically the exact same colour as my skin (which is hard to find because I'm really light skinned) and it perfectly hides away the redness I get on my cheeks. It feels so light when it's on that I could easily forget that I've put it on. Also, a bonus, it doesn't smell horrible like some foundations! Perfect! I'll definitely be buying this again!
MAC Matchmaster SPF 15 Foundation Shade 1.5 - £27.00

Along with my foundation purchase, I also went for the powder. I love face powders and I sometimes love to just apply the powder and that's it. This powder is so perfect for my skin. It doesn't dry it out like other powders have done in the pass, and it gives a really nice natural smooth finish. I got the shade a bit darker than I usually would just so it can give my face a bit of a darker tint because I really don't like using bronzers.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural Powder Shade Medium/Dark - £22

I have been searching everywhere for a good highlighter for months! And here we have it, the best one I've come across so far! I already love Benefit products but I hardly ever buy them. I did research and this came out as the best selling highlighter in the UK at the moment, so I thought I'd give it a go, and I am so glad I did! On one end is the highlighter itself which you apply, then at the opposite end is a little blending sponge to blend it in. It gives such a nice, natural, healthy glow and it's such a lovely neutral colour. I absolutely love it! Now, it is a bit pricy which is why I hesitated at buying it, but it's so worth it! I promise!
Benefit Watt's Up! Highlighter - £24.50

If you're looking for a new mascara, BUY THIS! This is by far the best mascara I've ever used. My Grandma recently commented on my eyelashes asking me if I had fake ones on, because it's that good!  Basically, it has 2 settings on it which you twist the top and it changes from setting 1 to setting 2 and visa versa. Setting 1 is basically a longer thinner brush which helps to separate the eyelashes and apply the first coat, then you twist the top and change it to setting number 2 and becomes a fatter, smaller brush which helps to volumize the lashes, and boy, does it volumize them! I love love love it. It's cheap too!
Bourjois Paris Twist Up The Volume Mascara Black - £6.99

Setting 1

Setting 2

Sorry I didn't post any pictures of me wearing the products by the way! This was just a quick blog to show you the products! Hopefully I'll post more soon! Thanks!

My Daily Makeup Routine

As I got ready this morning, I thought that I'd do my first ever makeup routine post, but be warned, it's not much! I'll have much more products soon.

♡ First, I obviously moisturise! Now, I've used A LOT of moisturises in the past, I've used them all. However, I love Nivea and this one has been great for my dry skin so I've just kept it! And it's cheap! It also has a really nice smell to it, not overpowering, just a nice subtle smell. You only need to apply a small amount and it really leaves your face feeling very refreshed. On the days where I wear no make up, I simply just put this on and my face will feel very refreshed and moisturised without feeling greasy.
(
My night cream is also Nivea)
Nivea Daily Essentials Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream - £2.99

♡ Next, I prime my face. I've only ever used two primers, one of them was a L'oreal primer but I remember seeing this one on the TV and I thought I'd give it a try, and I haven't used any other primer ever since! I love it! All you need is a teeny bit (a bit smaller than the sample on my hand) and it will cover your whole face with just a pea size. It's such good value for money. It's aim is to blur the appearance of shine, fine lines, wrinkles and pores within 5 seconds, and it does exactly that! You can literally put on your foundation straight after applying this, no waiting around!
I can't really describe the texture of it other than it's sort of...paste like? It's a really strange texture, but it feels incredible soft on the skin and I sometimes just wear this without any other face makeup! It really smoothes the face and reduces any shine, and I noticed most of my pores immediately fade as soon as I put it on.
Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blue Primer - £12.99

♡ After moisturizing and priming I apply my tinted moisturiser. I've been using this for about 2 years now, before that I used to use Max Factor Miracle Touch foundation in a shade that, looking bad, it didn't even suit me! And it really started to dry my skin out so my Grandma took me to Debenhams one day and had my skin tested out at the Clinique station and then they choose which foundation/tinted moisturiser is the best for your skin! And I got this one and I've been using it ever since!
I have quite fair skin, I'd say from a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being the most pale, and 5 being dark skinned, I'd say I was about a 2 or maybe pushing at a 3. This shade is shade 2 and it's perfect for my skin, it's literally just the same colour really and blends in so well. It gives a lovely glow and you can't even tell I'm wearing makeup. It's also very light yet provides the best coverage, only a tiny bit will go such a long way. I love Clinique because I think they do provide a lot of products for lighter skin tones.
I apply it with my Clinique foundation brush. Ignore the price, it's worth the splurge! It's lasted me 2 years, with regular cleaning, and it's still just as soft as the day I bought it! Although it needs cleaning again soon (probably today). A little definitely goes a long way with this brush.

Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturiser Shade 2 - £22.00
Clinique Foundation Brush - £23.50

♡ In the past I've been through so many concealers and then I saw Kim Kardashian tweet about this concealer and I thought I may as well give that a try (not to mention I'm a huge Kim fan!). I ordered it from America I think and it took quite a while to get here, but it was worth it!
You can buy these palettes in loads of different colours, this one is the European colour (palette 1). It comes with 5 different shades of pigmented creamy concealer, the first 3 are aimed to hide pores and blemishes, then the second one to the end (the one most used) is aimed to hide dark circles, it's really, really good! Now the end one, the green one is to apply before your foundation to cover redness and I suffer from a lot of redness so this was actually a god send! It's so amazing at hiding every single blemish and imperfection on your face and definitely worth the price.
Make Up Forever Camouflage Creme Palette European 1 - $39 (£24.95)

Before I start, I'd just like to point out that this Soap & Glory powder did come with concealer too, but I don't use the concealer and it actually broke so I just use the powder. This is basically powder to put over your concealer which helps to hold the concealer in place, and it's really really good! I never have to re apply my concealer during the day because of this and I don't know where I'd be without it.Soap & Glory™ Kick Ass Concealer™ Camouflage Kit - £10.00

Next comes the eyes. I don't really wear eyeshadow that much, although I am looking at some eyeshadow pallets and I'm planning on wearing it much more because it just looks so nice and brightens the eye.
First, I apply the eyeshadow primer; because I don't wear eyeshadow that much, I just bought this Soap & Glory one and I've stuck with it really, it does the job pretty much and you can wear this primer just by itself without any eyeshadow if you like. I am planning on buying a Smashbox one that I've read about, however. The eyeshadow I use it basically just a white/cream colour which helps to brighten my eye, you can't really tell I've got it on and that's the reason I bought it really, I just wanted a eyeshadow to brighten my eyes.
It's About Prime - £8.00
No7 Perfect Stay Eyeshadow shade Matte Colico - £7.00

This mascara is only temporary mascara that I had to quickly buy out of what was left of my student loan because my other one ran out, and because I only had a bit of money left, I had to settle for the mini version of the Chanel mascara that I use. I love this mascara because it really does make your eyelashes bold and black and beautiful, and I'm all about the big eyelashes. Usually, with my regular sized mascara I'd only use the Chanel one for special occasions and I'd use a Rimmel London mascara for the day time, but since this was only cheap, I just use it whenever.
Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara #10 Noir Black - £15.00

♡ I always add my powder before my blusher just to even out my skin before adding the final touch. I've found the Revlon Color Stay collection to be really good and well priced, I love all of the powders in the collection and this one has been my saviour all summer. As you can see I'm running low on it because I literally use it all of the time. On my no makeup days, I put on my primer, then just put this on top and I'm good to go. Actually, recently, I've been just wearing this powder and nothing else, it gives such good coverage. It keeps me shine free for hours without looking cakey and I hardly ever have to touch up throughout the day
Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder - £10.99

This is a new blusher I've been using, usually I use a much brighter pink by Clinique, but I really love this colour and it gives such a nice subtle pink that I just use this all of the time now! It's sort of a rose colour and just gives that slight pink glow on the cheeks that's not too out there.
L'oreal Paris Le Blush True Match Blusher shade 125 Rose Nude/Nude Pink - £3.98

Last but not least I do my eyebrows! I admit, I never used to even colour my eyebrows until a few months ago and I love it! This is the first eyebrow pencil I've ever bought and used and it seems to do the job perfectly! It has shades like blonde, brunette ect... I got the blonde shade as I have bright blonde hair, and this colour is literally the same shade as my natural eyebrows, it's perfect. It's sort of a ash colour (not very good on the picture, sorry). The consistency was not too soft and not too hard, the brush on the lid is fab and the wax is great for keeping eyebrow hairs in place.
L'oreal Paris Brow Artiste Eyebrow Pencil Blonde - £4.99

Total cost of daily routine - £146.39
(note; I use different makeup for my going out routine, which I'll do a post about one day)

Baby Lips Lip Balm

I've heard quite a lot about these new Maybelline lip balms, and I really want to try them!
Supposedly they're supposed to give 8 hour hydration and also add a bit of subtle colour to the lips. They come in 6 different colours and fragrances.
From left to right; Peachy Kiss, Intense Care, Hydrate, Mint Fresh, Cherry Me & Pinky Punch.
I think I will most likely buy 2 or 3 of them, I will be buying Cherry Me, Pinky Punch and maybe Peachy Kiss. We'll see.
I'll update when I've bought them (probably next week)

Bella Thorne Attends Tadashi Shoji Spring Show

Can we just stop and think for a second about the fact that the incredibly beautiful Bella Thorne is only 15 years old?! 15! She's 4 years younger than me and she looks as fabulous as this! She never fails to amaze me.
Here she is attending the Tadashi Shoji Spring collection show at New York Fashion Week (don't you just wish you were her?). I absolutely fell in love with this outfit as soon as I saw it, she makes anything look flawless. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I love pencil skirts and crop tops but this is a whole new level of pencil skirt and crop top ensemble! I love the white patterned skirt, I love the sheer white crop top, I just love it!
She then teams the outfit up with some (sky high!) wedges, I seriously hope she didn't have to walk very far in them! They make my feet hurt by just looking at them! To brighten up the whiteness of her outfit, she wore bright red lipstick and as usual, her strawberry blonde hair looked immaculate (serious hair envy going on here).
Bella, you look fab!

Kelly Osbourne Arrives In Style For NYFW

Now, I've seen a lot of criticism surrounding these images of Kelly Osbourne arriving in New York for Fashion Week, but I couldn't disagree with them more!
She looks elegant, sophisticated and ready for Fashion Week!
I think Kelly rocks this whole outfit (although I'm not sure on her hair). There's definitely a reason she was chosen to be a host on Fashion Police (my favourite show). I love the chic leather trimmed black shirt (love me some leather), paired up with a matching blazer and blue satin skirt. I just love the whole outfit! Although I don't think I would have matched it up with the silver glitter encrusted heels, I would have probably gone for some elegant, simple black heels, but this is her style and she rocks it all.
As for the negative comments regarding her outfit, I saw some people mention she shouldn't be wearing a skirt so short because of her 'tree trunk legs'. Excuse you! She looks fab! You go girl!
I also learnt recently that she is launching her own plus size range of clothes! She's an inspiration and shows that you don't have to be a size 6 to wear short skirts and look fab!

Lola Shoetique?!

I have recently discovered Lola Shoetique! It is an American shoe store which obviously you order your shoes from online and I think it costs around £30 for delivery, but the shoes are so worth it! Heres two pairs which I really want to buy!

These heels I absolutely adore! They're so classy and chic and I love the white single strap on the front, as well at the ankle strap which adds sexiness to them. I think they'd be adorable with a classy dress for a dinner or a drinks.
Lola Shoetique Kate Black/White Heels - $28.00
Oh these shoes are so beautiful they make me wanna cry! I absolutely adore them! They are so sophisticated yet sexy at the same time, and they would so easily vamp up any outfit! I love the sideless effect on them! They're also available in blue, red and leopard print, but I'd go for black because every girl needs a good pair of black heels!

I've recently fallen in love with Forever 21! It's all so cheap and amazing! So I've devised myself a wish list for me to buy this month, and when/if I do, I'll post reviews on here.

I love this dress! I love black and white stripes for a start, and as soon as I saw this I fell in love! And coming in at only £18.75, it makes it even better! I will definitely be buying this when I can to wear on a night out!

Forever 21 Cozy-Chic Moto Jacket - £32.75

I love skater skirts and I love this one especially because of the gold studs, it really makes it stand out from all the other leather skater skirts out there (and I own a few myself). It'd go really nice with a nice black crop top and some wedges for a night out!

♡  Oh my gosh! I love crop tops so much! I love wearing them with skirts, and even though I don't have a washboard stomach, anyone can wear them! Just wear a high waisted skirt (it's what I do)! This one I love especially because it's just so cute and girly and I love the rose pattern on it, and I don't know I just love it, plus it's cheap as chips!
